1. About These Terms
These terms apply to all bookings and purchases made with The Tallest Branch Limited, including MBSR courses, workshops, mindfulness walks, one-to-one sessions and digital downloads, whether booked through thetallestbranch.ie or directly with us.
2. Bookings and Payments
Fees: the fee for each course, workshop, walk or session is shown on our website at the time of booking.
MBSR courses: a deposit of €50 secures your place. The balance is due before the first session.
How to pay: bookings are made through our website booking system (Acuity Scheduling, part of Squarespace), and payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
3. Suitability Call
Before an MBSR course begins, and before your first one-to-one coaching session, you will have a short one-to-one call with the teacher or coach to make sure the service is right for you at this time. If we agree together that it is not suitable for you right now, you will receive a full refund of everything you have paid.
4. If You Need to Cancel
Within 14 days of booking: under EU consumer law, you can cancel for any reason within 14 days of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the course or service has not started.
After 14 days, with at least 7 days' notice: if you cancel at least 7 days before the course or event starts, you will receive a full refund.
Less than 7 days' notice, or after the course has started: no refund is available.
If more than one of these applies, the one most favourable to you is used.
To cancel, email anthony@thetallestbranch.ie. Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days.
5. If We Need to Cancel
If we cancel a course, workshop, walk or session, you will receive a full refund of everything you have paid, including any deposit.
6. One-to-One Sessions
You can reschedule a one-to-one session free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Sessions cancelled or missed with less than 24 hours' notice are charged in full.
7. Session Recordings
Some MBSR sessions may be recorded for teacher assessment, only with the written consent of every participant. Participants are recorded as audio only. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
8. Scope of Our Services
Our courses, workshops, walks and coaching sessions are educational and supportive services for stress reduction and personal wellbeing. They are not medical treatment, psychotherapy or counselling, and they do not replace care from a doctor or mental health professional. If you are receiving medical or psychological care, please talk to your provider before booking.
9. Taking Part Safely
Our services are for adults aged 18 and over.
Please tell us about any health changes before or during a course, so we can support you appropriately.
Movement and qigong practices are gentle and optional. Always work within your own limits.
For outdoor walks, please wear suitable footwear and clothing for the weather and ground conditions.
10. Course Materials and Audio
All course materials, handouts and audio recordings remain the property of The Tallest Branch Limited. They are for your own personal practice only and may not be shared, copied or sold.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
